There are quite a few well-known celebrities who actually spent a lot of, if not all of, their childhood in Minnesota. Chris Pratt, Jessica Biel, and Winona Ryder are a few big ones.
Another big name that comes from the Land of 10,000 Lakes is none other than Bob Dylan.

Bob Dylan's Childhood in Minnesota
Bob Dylan is originally from Duluth but when he was 6, in 1948, his family moved to Hibbing. He lived in Hibbing with his family up until he graduated high school and left for the University of Minnesota in 1959.
But during his childhood, what was his neighborhood in Hibbing like? Since you can easily find his childhood home online, it wasn't too hard to figure out.

Where is Bob Dylan's Childhood Home
Just driving down the street of Hibbing, you may not notice when you drive by Bob Dylan's childhood home.
The signs saying it's his home are so small!
But this home is currently being lived in by other people, so I understand if you don't want to draw too much attention to yourself with a massive sign.
His childhood home is right in the middle of a ton of houses.
I dug around on Zillow to see when these surrounding homes were built. Nearly all of the homes in the above picture were there when Bob Dylan lived in the neighborhood.
If my sleuthing is correct, all of the homes on his block were there except for the one on the top right of the picture. So his family may have had more land than the house does currently.
What Was Bob Dylan's Childhood Like
Other than the homes surrounding the childhood home, Bob also lived just a few blocks from Hibbing High School, which is still there and where he went to school. Of course, he also performed there when he was a kid.
The school also has a big sign out for when Bob Dylan won a Nobel Prize.
One block closer to Bob's home is Blessed Sacrament Church, which I believe was built before Bob and his family moved to town.
Also near his home, and is still there to this day, is the Hibbing Memorial Arena, where the Hibbing High School's hockey teams play. Maybe Bob spent some time there too when he was a kid?
