Body Tentatively Identified

The Rochester Police Department has made a tentative ID of the man whose body

was found in the Zumbro River near the Mayo Civic Center yesterday.

Forensic testing will be done to positively identify the person. A spokesman says a passerby spotted the body around 5 p.m. on the east side of the 3rd avenue bridge.

He says there were no visible signs of trauma and an autopsy is expected to be performed today to determine a cause of death.
