Broadway Musicals Coming to Minnesota 2024-2025

Hennepin Theater Trust just announced their lineup for the 2024-2025 season and the shows sound incredible.

This season kicks off in September of 2024 with 'Back to the Future - The Musical' at the Orpheum. I would be so curious to see how this movie has been turned into a Broadway musical! That one will run September 10-22.

'Some Like it Hot' hits the Orpheum stage October 15-20, 'Les Miserables' November 19-December 1, and 'The Book of Morman' December 17-22.

Then there are 7 shows that have been announced for 2025. Those include 'Parade' January 21-26, 'Hadestown' February 11-16, 'Life of Pi' March 4-9, '& Juliet' May 13-18, 'Kimberly Akimbo' July 8-13, and 'Beauty and Beast' August 5-17.

The seventh show doesn't have a date yet from what I can tell but it's the pre-Broadway world premiere of 'Purple Rain', which will be at the State Theatre. I love that they're bringing the pre-Broadway premiere to Minnesota! I mean, it makes total sense but I'm so glad they're doing that.
