Caribou Re-Names Large to Bomba in Honor of Twins

In honor of the Twins making it to the playoffs this year Caribou Coffee has renamed their large size to bomba. So you wouldn't order a large mocha, you have to order a bomba mocha! The renaming happened on Friday and goes through the best-of-5 game series against the Yankees.

What's the deal with bomba? Bring Me the News says "the name references the 'Bomba Squad' of Twins batters who set a new Major League Baseball record for the most home runs in a season with 307."

The best part is that Caribou will donate a portion of all proceeds from bomba drink purchases to the Twins Community Fund. And for every home run hit during the ALDS, Caribou will donate another $1,000.

So make sure you head to Caribou and grab a bomba drink to show your support for the Twins, help a good cause, and also to caffeinate yourself, of course.
