The Associated Press (AP) recently interviewed Casey Anthony after years of her hiding from public scrutiny. Casey Anthony was accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony when she went missing about nine years ago. Three years after Caylee's body was found, Casey was eventually acquitted from the first-degree murder charge due to lack of evidence but still served time for lying to the police.

When asked by the AP what she thought her daughter would be like now, Anthony responded with "Caylee would be 12 right now. And would be a total badass," she went on to say "I'd like to think she'd be listening to classic rock, playing sports" and putting up with no nonsense."

Anthony feels that people tried her before her actual trial. She said "My sentence was doled out long before there was a verdict. Sentence first, verdict afterward. People found me guilty long before I had my day in court."

But here's the thing. Anthony couldn't give a concrete timeline on when Caylee went missing. She remembered her mother coming in to say good-bye in the morning when she laid in bed with Caylee but then later that day Caylee was all of sudden gone? And they didn't do anything about it for a month? Seriously? Caylee was last seen on June 16, 2008 but was not reported missing until July 15 by Casey Anthony's mother. These things just do not add up.

Something bad happened to Caylee and we may never know the answer. May she rest in peace.
