Looks like I'm not the only one who's setting high goals this week for a good cause.

For the second year in a row, law enforcement personnel throughout the state will rise to the occasion and support Special Olympics Minnesota atop nine Dunkin’ Donuts rooftops this Friday, August 17 for "Cop on a Rooftop", including one here in Rochester.

Hosted by Olmsted County Sheriff's Office, each guest who visits a participating Cop on a Rooftop location tomorrow and makes a donation will receive a coupon for a free medium hot or iced coffee (limit one per person). Officers will be stationing themselves at 15 1st Ave SW in downtown Rochester!

The event goes from 6 A.M. to 11 A.M.

It's no secret how much Sheriff Kevin Torgerson, his staff, and the rest of the fine men and women who serve here in southeast Minnesota put in countless hours to help Special Olympics Minnesota achieve their goals within our great state, so it's important that we take advantage of events like these and show our own support for them and all the athletes who compete!
