If you love tubing, fun lights, and music you definitely don't want to miss night tubing in Minnesota this winter. I know, we've had a really bizarre and warm winter. But never fear, if you love snow tubing, some sweet night tubing is still on at a couple of places in the state!

It seems like most places in Minnesota had no snow or nearly no snow up until just a few days ago with the storm that hit. It's been such a weird winter but regardless, these skiing/snowboarding/tubing spots have their fake snow ready to go if needed because they're hosting lazer light night tubing still this year.

Lazer Night Tubing in Minnesota

First up is an event called Lazer Light Tubing at Powder Ridge in Kimball, which is just northwest of the Twin Cities.

There are lazers, there are strobes, there are lots of flashing lights... it looks like a great time! And you get a free glowstick with your ticket so you can match all of the fun lights. And you have to have great music pumping while you slide down the hill.

Sadly, there are only two dates left this season that aren't sold out and those dates are Friday, February 16th, and Friday, February 23rd.

It's $30 per person to tube for 2 hours (and you get that free glow stick I mentioned) and you do need to buy tickets in advance. If you're thinking about checking out Lazer Light Tubing, get your tickets sooner rather than later!

Thankfully, there's another lazer light tubing option in Minnesota.

That other option is available at Buck Hill in Burnsville.

It's called Northern Lights Tubing and it only runs for five days. The dates for the 2024 season are Thursday, February 21st through Sunday, February 25th.

The event features a "mesmerizing display of choreographed lights and music" to tube to. They'll also have free live music at their restaurant on Friday night.

You'll want to grab tickets for this in advance. They're $29 per person and you'll have to pick your arrival time when you pick your tickets. Sessions start every 15 minutes and your ticket gets you on the hill for 1.5 hours.
