A person called 911 last Saturday to report a huge brawl and "at least one person down."

The fight started at what Lino Lakes Police Sgt. Chad Schirmers is calling  an "informal rodeo." He told the Pioneer Press, "There was an oval pen, sort of a corral, there were animals, horse trailers. I don't know what else you'd call it but an informal rodeo."

Police said organizers didn't have permits, which would have required security, for the event Saturday that was held about 20 minutes north of Minneapolis.

Schirmers said the tensions rose when people cut a line, "Apparently there's an order for who ropes which cows, and people were cutting in line. There was just way, way too many people in a confined space with no security,"

The Pioneer Press reports it took officers two hours to clear the area. Two people were arrested - one became violent with the officers and the other is the man who owns the land that the unauthorized event was held on. No one one was taken to the hospital.
