We've loved him since that first time we heard him singing at that big piano inside of Mayo Clinic in Rochester and now, Dr. Elvis has released an EP to help raise money to combat Covid-19.

Dr. Elvis shared the exciting news on his Instagram page, along with an image of an article that was done by The Washington Post:

Tomorrow Friday 4/17/2020 @w_a_robinson and I will be releasing an EP of all of our covers on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and all music platforms
—-
Proceeds will all be donated to benefit the most vulnerable people in America and healthcare workers on the front lines through The Center of Disaster Philanthropy COVID-19 Response Fund which is focused on supporting nonprofit organizations working directly to respond to the pandemic among vulnerable populations
——
The greatest gift you all have given Dr. Robinson and I was reminding us that though we are training to be surgeons music heals us in ways that medicine simply can not. And since you’ve given that gift to us...we will give all proceeds to charity
—-
Even if you hate the music...just remember every download, every stream is donated to charity
—-
Also....I’ve never recorded music in my entire life and being in a professional recording studio recording “Lean on Me” the day after Bill Withers passed away was a surreal moment for me......growing up in poverty on the streets of Miami I couldn’t have ever imagined that I’d be here in this position today.
——
So to all my dreamers with nothing but a dollar in your pocket....keep dreaming. You can be right where I am today if you work hard and believe....

Love you beautiful people,
Doctor Elvis

To all that helped you make that EP happen, thank you!  Using our gifts and talents to help others...THAT is what #Community is all about.

If you missed some of the other stories we shared about Dr. Elvis and Dr. Robinson, you can see my favorite one here.  He created a music video with MediaCore in Rochester, and it is worth watching.

I'm so thankful for those who are on the frontlines right now!  I'm #WearingBlueForYou - yes, I'm talking about my hair.  I am officially taking the title of the Only DJ in Rochester with blue hair and I'm doing it all to support those that are essential and being brave.  I'm wearing blue for you.  You can read that whole story here.

Do you have a family member or loved one that is on the frontlines and an essential worker?  Let me know their name and where they work!  Send me a message to my Facebook page (Jessica On The Radio). or DM me on Instagram.
