The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry says anyone who received notice that their application had been approved but has not received their payment will be receiving an email explaining the state's initial payment attempt failed. That was due to erroneous payment information on their application. The email notice indicates they have until the end of the business day on Friday to update their payment information before a second payment attempt will be made.

The department earlier indicated that anyone who submitted an application without direct deposit information would receive a debit card in the mail next month with their $487 payment.
