'Coming Soon' and 'Now Hiring' signs are up at the location of a new game store that's coming to Rochester. If you like board games, collectible items, comics, or card games, this place will be right up your alley.

It's called Dreamers Vault. They have 7 locations across the Twin Cities and this will be their first location elsewhere in the state.

Dreamers Vault Game Store Opening in Rochester, MN

Whether you're looking for pop culture items, trading cards, a new board game to try, or a Magic: The Gathering game to join, Dreamers Vault will be a place you may want to check out once they open.

They'll be located in the Maplewood Square shopping center, which is near Best Buy. The location is in between X-Golf and Pixie Nails.

At their 7 Twin Cities locations, they host all sorts of events, many of them being 'open play', so anyone can come join. Some of them cost a fee to participate but many seem to be free to join.

They seem to get pretty consistently good reviews across the board so I'll be excited to check them out when they open in Rochester.

Speaking of which, I reached out to Dreamers Vault to see if I could get a time frame for when they hope to open. I haven't heard back directly from them, but rumor has it, at least from the Post Bulletin, is that they hope to open in October or November.

09/17 UPDATE: I heard back from one of the owners, Jason, who said that they will be combining two stores into one bigger location for Dreamers Vault. That means walls will have to come down between the two existing stores. He told me they hope that will happen in early October and then they will be able to start their work to turn the space into Dreamers Vault.

Stores and Restaurants We Want to See in Rochester

There are obviously tons of stores and restaurants around Rochester and in the surrounding area, but of course you can't always please everyone. These are the stores and restaurants we hope will come to Rochester.
