Minnesota’s First Christmas Event Has Been Announced for 2025
When Starbucks announced that thier Pumpkin Spice Latte is coming back on August 26th, I was upset. That's way too early. It's still summer! Early September just sounds so much more acceptable.
But then my world got rocked AGAIN when, today, the first Christmas event in Minnesota was announced.
I love Halloween and I love Christmas, but dang, people, it's way too early! Let me soak up my summer!

This Christmas event is, as far as I'm aware, the first to make an official announcement for their 2025 plans. And while I'm upset by how early they decided to do it, it is one of my favorite holiday events.
St. Paul, MN's European Christmas Market Announces Their 2025 Dates
The European Christmas Market is the culprit here. The market is held every holiday season in St. Paul at Union Depot and emulates the traditional Christkindl Markets in Europe.
There are tons of vendors selling traditional food, goods, and handmade products. There's also Glühwein, which is a delicious, spiced mulled wine. If you want, you can get the souvenir mug (which has a different design each year) and get your Glühwein in that.

On top of all that, there are special areas for kids and plenty of live performances as well.
If you've never been, I would highly recommend going.
European Christmas Market 2025 Dates
The dates for 2025 are:
1st Weekend: Nov 28-30
2nd Weekend: Dec 5-7
3rd Weekend: Dec 12-14
4th Weekend: Dec 19-21
Typical hours are Fridays 3-9 PM, Saturdays 11 AM - 9 PM, and Sundays 11 AM - 6 PM. On the first day of the market, though, on Friday, November 28th, they'll open starting at noon.
Now, the kind of thing I'd rather talk about in the heat of the summer is the Minnesota State Fair! They have tons of new foods and vendors coming this year. Check it out.
