"Excited to come home to Townsquare Media Rochester-Faribault-Owatonna-Preston, where it all started for me. Looking forward to reconnecting with familiar faces, diving back into these communities, and contributing to the success of this fantastic company. Grateful for the chance to bring my skills back to where it all began. Let's make great things happen together!"

Shannon Knoepke previously served as the cluster's General Manager from 2009 to 2015 and left for a similar position at Audacy’s Minneapolis-St. Paul stations including WCCO.

Despite her career change, Shannon maintained her residence in Rochester, raising her family here and remaining actively involved in the community.

Knoepke returned to lead Townsquare Media as the Market President, overseeing stations in Rochester, Faribault, Owatonna, and Preston.

Townsquare Vice President, Mary Neimeyer, praised Knoepke's leadership skills. "It is truly an exciting moment for Townsquare Media to welcome Shannon back to the helm. Her profound love for our local radio brands, commitment to community involvement, and outstanding leadership abilities makes her the perfect catalyst for our continued success. We are not just a full service media company, we are an integral part of the southeast Minnesota communities we serve and Shannon’s return symbolizes that.”
