Football and Bowling Collide at Minnesota’s First Fowling Warehouse
We love to come up with weird combinations of things, but I had no idea that in the early 2000s someone put football and bowling together into a sport called fowling. Now, it's coming to Minnesota!

What is Fowling?
Fowling was created in Detroit in 2001, according to the Wikipedia page. I guess it's popular at tailgating parties (so maybe I'm the odd man out here for not knowing what this was).
It utilized bowling pins and a football, and the layout of the game is similar to bags/cornhole.
There are bowling pins set up just like in regular bowling on wood platforms on either side of the playing area. You can either play one-on-one or two-on-two and the goal is toss the football however you'd like to knock down the pins on the other side.
Here's how Wiki describes the game:
Like bowling, each match is broken down into frames. In match play, one frame is completed when all pins are knocked down on either lane. The team that accomplishes this first wins the frame. The game is over when a team wins two out of three frames.
Seems easy, and sounds kind of fun!

Pretty soon, you won't have to buy the supplies to play Fowling at home, either, because Minnesota's first fowling business is opening soon.
Fowling Warehouse Opening in Minneapolis, MN
The place is called Fowling Warehouse and they'll be opening a location in Minneapolis in the North Loop.
They'll have everything you need set up and ready for you to play some games of fowling. They have other locations across the US, so they definitely know what they're doing.
It only costs $15 per person to play, and you can play all day long if you'd like. They'll also have a bar, food, and other games to play on top of fowling.
It sounds really fun, I definitely want to try this out! Fowling Warehouse will open in Minneapolis on September 13th.
