I just had a birthday...and no, I am not telling you how old I am, but I can officially say that I was around when the Walkman was invented. It was awesome then but I really love my iPhone today. #NeverGoingBack

Birthdays aren't always easy for me, and I haven't always been a fan of adding that extra year, but I decided that 2024 was going to be the year where I just soak up the birthday love. I had listeners from around the country wish me Happy Birthday.

My alma mater, Iowa State University, sent me a special birthday greeting. My financial planner and Delta Air Lines sent me a birthday wish. And, I found a whole lot of freebies!

Stacker used data from the 2020 County Health Rankings to rank every state's average life expectancy from lowest to highest. The 2020 County Health Rankings values were calculated using mortality counts from the 2016-2018 National Center for Health Statistics. The U.S. Census 2019 American Community Survey and America's Health Rankings Senior Report 2019 data were also used to provide demographics on the senior population of each state and the state's rank on senior health care, respectively.
