Christopher S. Larsen, the author of 'Haunted Mantorville: Trailing the Ghosts of Old Minnesota", recently told the Star Tribune “It’s pretty much the most haunted town in the Midwest per capita.”

The 1918 Opera House, The Hubble House, The Restoration House, The Old Log Cabin and The Dodge County Historical Society are all part of the Ghost tours led by Jane Olive, who is the president of the Mantorville Restoration Association. Want to go on one of these tours? You can reach her at 1-507-269-2659.

A Star Tribune reporter took the tour and shared stories of her experience which included hearing "spooky noises" in the Restoration House and a sudden temperature drop in the Log Cabin.

I have been to the Hubble House several times and have never noticed anything out of the ordinary but than again I wasn't watching or listening for paranormal activity. Next time I'll be paying close attention!
