Help the Cavallaro Family

A fire has taken the home and belongings of the Cavallaro family but it has not taken the spirit of the community. Community members far and wide have rallied around the family to provide not only loving support - but essentials and much more, too.

A YouCaring fundraising page has been set up by family friend LeAnn Bauman. Close to $10K has been raised already with donations frequently coming in.

A Facebook group page was also created to serve as a central location for the outpouring of support. There's posts of kind words, offers to help and details on how folks can contribute.

Casey's in Oronoco has a list of immediate needs for the family. (Suggestion that donations be new or in excellent condition.) You can drop off donations at Casey's.

If you'd like to show your appreciation and support to the amazing efforts of the Oronoco, Pine Island,  Mazeppa and Rochester Fire Departments, head on over to their Facebook pages and make a post or bring them treats.
