Strong Showing For Southeast Minnesota in High School Volleyball Rankings
The latest edition of the Minnesota High School Volleyball rankings are out and southeast Minnesota had a strong showing once again.
Section 1 had a strong showing of teams climbing into the Top 10 of their respective classes, including four teams in Class A, three teams in Class AA, three teams in Class AAA, and two teams in Class AAAA.

Class A Minnesota High School Volleyball Rankings
The defending Class A Champions are #1 in the rankings this week and received all but one first-place vote. Coming off of wins over Big Lake and Watertown-Mayer the Crusaders will turn their attention to a tilt with #3 Bethlehem Academy this week and Tri-City United.
Southeast Minnesota was well-represented once again in the Class A rankings, which defending Section 1 champion Bethlehem Academy coming in at #3, while always tough Mabel-Canton is at #5. Kenyon-Wanamingo landed at #6 and Spring Grove ended up at #9.

Class AA Minnesota High School Volleyball Rankings
Pequot Lakes took home the top spot in the rankings this week, coming off a win over Wadena-Deer Creek. While Pequot Lake is #1 in the rankings, Zumbrota-Mazeppa actually had more first-place votes and finished just a few points behind Pequot Lakes in the rankings.
Zumbrota-Mazeppa led a strong field of teams from southeast Minnesota at #2 in the rankings, while Cannon Falls was #9 and Caledonia was #10.
Two Top-10 HVL teams will clash when Zumbrota-Mazeppa host Cannon Falls on Thursday.

Class AAA Minnesota High School Volleyball Rankings
Three very familiar teams remain at the top of the Class AAA rankings as defending champion Marshall received all but two first-place votes (HVL foes Kasson-Mantorville and Byron received the other two).
Section one remains very tough in Class AAA. Kasson-Mantorville came in at #2, Stewartville at #3, and Byron at #5. The HVL has five teams ranked in the Top 10 between Class AAA and Class AA. That is one tough conference and makes for two very difficult sections.

Class AAAA Minnesota High School Volleyball Rankings
The defending-champion Wayzata comes in at #1 this week and starts out 3-0 on the season. In Section 1, three teams cracked the Top 10 with Lakeville North at #5 and Rochester Mayo tied for #9.
Mayo had a strong start to the season with a win over Farmington and will take on #3 ranked in Class AAA Stewartville this week.
