How Minnesotans Can Score A Free Beer From Miller Lite

Whether you're a fan of Bud, Miller, Coors, or any other domestic brew, I think most of us would agree that fewer things can top getting a free beer. It's the zero dollars that makes it taste so good!

That's why I thought I'd pass on the word that Miller Lite is doing something pretty unique that can score you and your pals a free beer. The best part? You just have to unfollow them on social media, and they'll buy you a beer. Seriously. Here's how it works:

1. Take a photo or screenshot of you NOT following Miller Lite on Facebook or Instagram, and text that photo to 49375 with the word "UNFOLLOW."
2. Buy a Miller Lite.
3. Drink that Miller Lite!
4. When the company replies with a link, click that and upload a receipt with your Miller Lite on the tab.
5. Miller will send you money via PayPal, effectively paying for that beer.

FYI, this promotion only runs from October 22nd through November 22nd. You have until December 6th to submit your receipt. So why are they doing this? According to our friends at Thrillist:

"Their campaign is an effort to make you enjoy some time with friends instead of time staring at your phone. They're trying to rebrand normal time spent talking in a bar with friends as "Miller Time." Additionally...the announcement says that 'social media influencers will also be deployed to amplify the new campaign to encourage and inspire Miller Time amongst friends."

Okay, so my eyes just rolled all the way into the back of my head while reading that, but hey...FREE BEER! Let's focus on the free beer.
