How Much Money Minnesotans Have To Make To Achieve ‘Happiness’
A study conducted by researchers at Purdue University revealed the amount of money you would need to make each year to reach the optimal level of happiness. We asked our listeners what that dollar figure would be for them:
Now, I don't think you can buy happiness - I know a lot of angry rich people and I also know a lot of people that are struggling but seem to be genuinely happy - but, I do think money can make achieving happiness easier by eliminating some of the financial stress that we all deal with. The Purdue researchers say a person maxes out their happiness potential when they make $105,000 a year which is $36,000 more than the median household income in the United States. The study showed anything more than that does not add to level of happiness a person may experience.
