Last month we told you that participating McDonald's restaurants were going to contribute 40-cents from each Shamrock Shake sold to Ronald Mcdonald House Charities in Minnesota. And now, we can tell you how much is being donated. More than 230 restaurants participated in the promotion and today McDonald's announced the total donation to RMHC would be $126,570!

In a press release, McDonald's Minnesota Co-Op President Courtney Henry said he and his fellow owner/operators are thrilled to make the donation. "We thank our customers, because their support of this wonderful cause helps us help families. We're proud to support Ronald McDonald House Charities here in Minnesota, where families stay together when it matters most."

The Rochester Ronald McDonald House's expansion is set to be finished in May and will go from from 42 to 70 rooms. The five RMHC locations in Minnesota combined to serve more than 7,000 families in 2018. Props to McDonald's for the tasty fundraiser and thanks to everyone that bought a shake to support the Ronald McDonald House.
