Iowa Zoo’s Lion Makes Her Super Bowl 60 Prediction

Animals, babies, and everything in between have been making their predictions for who will win Super Bowl 60. A lion at Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines, Iowa has made her selection for who will win the Super Bowl. I'll have you know, she has an 80% accuracy.

Super Bowl 60 Prediction From Iowa Zoo's Lion

The Super Bowl is this Sunday, February 8th, in Santa Clara, California. The Seahawks will be taking on the Patriots. I will personally be cheering for the Seahawks because 1. I know it's been years, but I don't need to see another Patriots Super Bowl win and 2. I want Sam Darnold to win.

Every year, Blank Park Zoo puts out barrels with each team's logo on a barrel. Whichever barrel the lions play with/knock over first is who they predict will be the winner of the Super Bowl.

Black Park Zoo shared a video of the selection on their social media pages. One barrel with the Seahawks logo and one barrel with the Patriots logo are set up in the lions' enclosure.

First to inspect the barrels, Deuce, who ends up not caring either way and not making a decision.

Then the lioness, Zarina, comes to inspect. KCCI says that, according to zoo officials, she has predicted the correct winner of the Super Bowl 80% of the time.

Zarina picked... the Seahawks to win the Super Bowl! Zarina, I hope you're right!
