Bed Bath & Beyond recently announced that they will be closing 63 of their stores by the end of 2020. Unfortunately, we are seeing stores in the midwest once again on the store closing list.

USA Today reported on Friday that Bed Bath & Beyond will be closing 63 of their stores by the end of this year.  They have been struggling financially during the pandemic but the financial problems and closings started even before COVID-19 hit.

Back in January, USA Today reported that the company decided that 40 stores would be closing and although Minnesota was not a state on the list, several stores in Iowa and Wisconsin were, including Council Bluffs and West Des Moines in Iowa and the store in Racine, Wisconsin.

According to the story by USA Today, about 200 stores will close in the next two years.  The details and locations of the 200 stores has not been revealed but they did release the 63 locations that are closing by the end of 2020.
