The highly anticipated new restaurant on Main Street, which has been teasing us all summer, has finally shared an update about when they plan to be fully operational, both inside and out.

You might remember the bittersweet farewell we bid to the beloved Smiling Moose gift and coffee shop last December.

After Kim and Steve White decided to retire, we all wondered what would take its place. Well, fast forward to today, and the transformation of that cozy Main Street spot is nearly complete.

New Restaurant Opening Soon in Kasson, MN

The Kickback Bar & Grill promises to be your new favorite "Stop & Chillax" destination in Southeast Minnesota, according to the description on their Facebook page.

With a vibe that’s all about good drinks, great food, and unforgettable moments with friends and family, it should be the perfect blend of flavor and a fun, comfortable atmosphere.

What is On the Menu at the Kickback Bar & Grill in Kasson?

While it looks like they may still be working to complete the full menu, what we have seen so far is a delicious mix of classic American bar-and-grill favorites with some intriguing twists.

Think breakfast, signature pizzas, wings, sandwiches & wraps, homemade soups, salads, and some unique Colombian delights you likely won't find anywhere else nearby, like this 'Colombian Dog' with pineapple sauce, coleslaw, crumbled potato chips, and salsa Rosada:

Some people got a sneak taste of the Kickback during their soft opening back in May and initial reviews were mostly positive.

When is The Kickback Bar & Grill Opening in Kasson, MN?

While we originally thought we’d be digging into these tasty dishes by mid-summer, owner Tony Faro shared with me that the grand opening has been pushed to October due to some unforeseen hiccups.

But don’t worry, the wait will only build more anticipation for what’s sure to be yet another hot spot in Kasson.
