5 Great Places To Watch All The World Cup Action In Minnesota
It's the biggest sporting event on the planet, and this summer it's playing out right in our backyard.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is being co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico, and reports indicate it's the largest tournament in the event's history, with 48 teams, 104 matches, and a sprawling 39-day run that stretches from June 11 all the way to the final on July 19. That's a full week longer than any World Cup before it.
While no matches are being played in Minnesota, it goes without saying that there are countless soccer fans across the state who plan to soak up every minute of it.
The good news? You don't need a plane ticket to feel the energy. Bars, breweries, and outdoor fan zones all over Minnesota are rolling out big screens, watch parties, and game-day specials.
So whether you're a die-hard who wakes up early for every match or just someone looking for a fun excuse to grab a pint with friends, here's a look at some great spots to catch the action.

5 Great Places To Watch World Cup Action In Minnesota
Minnesota United Soccer Celebration — 1101 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis
For a free, open-air option, the Loons are throwing a party spanning Peavey Plaza and Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis through late June.
Matches play on a big screen while DJs, soccer skill contests and podcast recordings fill the time in between — and it sits right next to one of the city's most popular soccer pubs.
Brit's Pub — 1110 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis
One of the Twin Cities' longtime soccer hubs, this Nicollet Mall mainstay (famous for its rooftop lawn-bowling green) is broadcasting matches throughout the tournament.
Open since 1990, it's about as close to an authentic English football-pub atmosphere as Minnesota gets.
Tom's Watch Bar — 609 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis
Billing itself as a World Cup headquarters, this downtown spot near Target Center is showing every match, every day, all summer long.
Options range from general admission with a food-and-beverage credit to full VIP experiences with tables and swag bags, and the 120-plus screens mean there's not a bad seat in the house.
Black Hart of Saint Paul — 1415 University Ave. W., St. Paul
An inclusive, LGBTQ+ soccer bar sitting steps from Allianz Field, Black Hart is the home of American Outlaws Twin Cities and Minnesota United's unofficial supporters' bar.
It's showing every World Cup match, both during and outside normal business hours, with screens indoors and out.
Its "Summer of Soccer" features a $15 Passport Program, where every match attended earns a stamp toward a prize drawing for tickets, scarves, jerseys and free beer — and $5 from each passport goes to the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee.
Dubh Linn Irish Brew Pub — 109 W. Superior St., Duluth
The Twin Cities area isn't the only fantastic soccer destination in Minnesota. This family-owned downtown pub, tucked into a 125-year-old building on Superior Street, is hosting watch parties for the sixth straight World Cup.
The pub reportedly brought in a third big-screen projector for the five-week run, which opens for every U.S. national team game and the Sunday final, and keeps it all family-friendly.
New this year is a partnership with semi-pro club Duluth FC, whose players are dropping by during U.S. games to hand out prizes and promote the sport. Add in the largest whiskey selection in Minnesota and homemade Irish fare, and it's easy to see why one fan once called it "World Cup central."
