Valentine's Day is approaching if you're single and ready to mingle there's an opportunity for you to get paid to get out there and meet people. Who knows, you could find your true love. At the very least, you could pocket some cash.

The opportunity, presented by Shane Co., is currently taking applicants the winner will then have a lot of flexibility on who they go on dates with and what those dates entail.

The winner will need to secure 15 dates with 15 different partners over the course of five months. Potential partners can be found in person, by using dating apps, on blind dates, being set up by friends, or by whatever means choose.  Also, the dates don’t necessarily have to be strangers, but they must be 15 different people to qualify as first dates.

Here are the basic requirements to know before applying:

  • Applicants must be single.
  • The winner must be willing and able to secure 15 dates with 15 different partners over the course of five months.
  • Your dates do not have to be strangers, but they must be 15 different people.
    The winner will be required to take a photo to document each of the 15 dates and fill out a brief worksheet outlining their experience.
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to apply.

Where do you need to go on your dates? That is wide open as Shane Co. says first-date locations can include anything from romantic dinners, brunch, a movie, meeting up at a coffee shop, or whatever you'd like to do.

Wherever you choose to go, you just have to document each date by taking a photo during the outing and filling out a brief worksheet about your experience. It's great if the date goes well and leads to a second date, but that wouldn't count toward the final count.
