You've got the chance to snorkel with tropical fish and even sharks - right here in Minnesota! Don't worry, there aren't sharks in any of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes (unless you count those huge muskies). Instead, guests can experience snorkeling with experts in a controlled environment that brings the ocean to you.

SEA LIFE at the Mall of America announced on June 8th that they would be bringing back the snorkel program this summer. It gives guests the chance to have a tropical adventure and come face-to-fin with hundreds of tropical fish, including sharks.

Guests will snorkel with an expert educator in Rainbow Reef. It's one of the underwater exhibits at the Mall's SEA LIFE aquarium.

There's a check-in and safety briefing, followed by a deck tour. You then gear up, get ready, and spend 20 minutes snorkeling in the water with the fish. After that, you clean up and explore the rest of SEA LIFE Aquarium on your own.

You'll need to bring a swimsuit, waterproof shoes, a towel, and ID if you're over 16. Purchase your package and register at Visitsealife.com.

LOOK: Here are the pets banned in each state
