Cider Lovers! New Event Pairs Unlimited Minnesota Cider Sampling With BBQ Food
This sounds like a delicious time!
While beverage sampling events for beers or ciders are not new to the Northland, this event coming to Duluth in August puts a delicious twist on things.
The Minnesota Cider Guild announced a summer cider sampling event that will give attendees access to some of Minnesota's best hard ciders along with some delicious barbecue food in a summer food and beverage pairing match made in heaven.
The event is simply being called "Cider & BBQ", and it will be hosted at Duluth's Wild State Cider at 2515 W Superior Street in Duluth's Lincoln Park Craft District.
The event will feature ciders from over a dozen different cideries around the state, with unlimited samples provided as part of the price of admission. In addition, the "BBQ" part of the "Cider & BBQ" event will be provided by two different food trucks.
Baptism River BBQ and Rollin Nolens BBQ will both be on-site, offering up their delicious smoked and barbecue-style foods (for an additional cost beyond the price of admission).

Music will also be part of the day's fun, with Minnesota musical rising stars Nur-D playing during the event.
The event will be held on Saturday, August 17 at Wild State, running from 2 pm to 5 pm. People who buy a VIP ticket will be able to enter an hour earlier, giving you a smaller crowd and an extra hour of sampling starting at 1 pm.
General admission tickets are $45 each, and VIP tickets are $55 each via the event's website. Designated driver tickets are also available for $10. Designated driver tickets include one non-alcoholic beverage as part of their admission.
