
32-Year-Old Man Killed in Crash at Winona County Intersection
The preliminary investigation indicates a van traveling south on County Rd. 25 went through the T-intersection and struck a tree.
Lewiston, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Winona County Sheriff’s Office has identified the motorist who lost his life in a crash at a rural intersection earlier this week.

Chief Deputy Sheriff Jeff Mueller said first responders were called out to the deadly crash shortly after 6:00 Wednesday morning.
One vehicle was involved in the fatal crash.

32-Year-Old Lewiston Man Killed in Crash at Rural Winona County Intersection
Mueller says the motorist died at the intersection of Winona County roads 12 and 25. The intersection is just north of Interstate 90 and about seven miles southeast of Lewiston.
The preliminary investigation indicates a van traveling south on County Rd. 25 went through the T-intersection and struck a tree.

Deputies identified the driver as 32-year-old Christopher Dvorak of Lewiston. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Mueller said.
Investigators do not suspect impairment of being involved in the fatality.
Lewiston Ambulance and the Lewiston Fire Department also responded to the deadly crash.
