
79-Year-Old Driver Hurt in SUV-Semi Collision on Hwy. 14 in St. Charles
St. Charles, MN (KROC-AM News)- A 79-year-old man was injured in a crash with a semi truck in southeast Minnesota Wednesday morning.

The drivers were the only occupants in the vehicles. The State Patrol responded to the two-vehicle collision shortly after 9:30 a.m.

79-Year-Old St. Charles Man Taken to St. Mary's Hospital After Hwy. 14 Collision with Semi
An SUV was southbound in an alley driveway east of Whitewater Ave. in St. Charles, when it entered Hwy. 14 and collided with the eastbound semi in the intersection, the state crash report says.
Clayton Arthur Wiskow of St. Charles was identified as the driver of the SUV.
He was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.
72-Year-Old Trucker Not Hurt in Crash With SUV
72-year-old Rudolph Edwin Kaehler was identified as the truck driver. The State Patrol says he was not hurt.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts and alcohol was not involved in the crash, according to the state crash report.

The St. Charles Police Department and the Winona County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the SUV-semi collision.
