
Injury Crash on I-35 Near Hinckley Involved Rochester Residents

Hinckley, MN (KROC-AM News) - Two Rochester residents and an elderly Fillmore County man were involved in an injury crash yesterday on a slippery section of I-35 in east-central Minnesota.
The State Patrol says an SUV driven by 56-year-old James Southwick of Rochester was headed north on the freeway when it left the roadway and rolled onto its roof in the right ditch. The crash was reported around 5:30 PM just south of Hinckley.
Southwick and one of his passengers, 56-year-old Jana Southwick of Rochester, escaped from the crash without injuries. A second passenger, 84-year-old Robert Stoskoph of Mabel, was transported to a hospital in Sandstone to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The State Patrol report notes all three occupants of the SUV were using seatbelts.
