
Pedestrian Airlifted After Being Struck by Pickup in Zumbrota
Zumbrota, MN (KROC-AM News) - A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and suffered severe injuries in Zumbrota on Wednesday.
A statement issued by the Zumbrota Police Department says officers responded to reports of a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash at the intersection of 2nd Street West and West Avenue shortly before 5:30 PM. A pedestrian who was walking in a crosswalk on West Avenue was hit by a pickup truck that was traveling west on 2nd Street.

Zumbrota police say the victim was airlifted to St. Marys Hospital and is listed in critical condition. The name of the victim has not been released.

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the incident and is conducting a crash reconstruction investigation.
