Three-Vehicle Crash Sends Southern Minnesota Woman to Hospital
The State Patrol responded to the three-vehicle crash on Hwy. 63/16 about four miles west of Spring Valley. The collision was reported shortly before 2:30 p.m.
The state crash report indicates an SUV, driven by 30-year-old Tasha Block, was traveling west on the two-lane highway when it was struck by an eastbound van that had previously collided with an eastbound SUV while it was waiting to make a left turn onto Mower/Fillmore Rd.
Block was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the van was identified as 33-year-old Kenneth Mcbride of Rochester and the eastbound SUV was operated by 29-year-old Tyler Kloeckner of Adams, MN.
Mcbride and Kloeckner were not hurt. All drivers were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in causing the three-vehicle crash, the state crash report says.
