Weather Closings and Delays for Tuesday, November 29, 2022

A Winter Weather Advisory continues until 9 PM tonight across SE MN. Mixed precipitation is expected with snow and ice accumulation.

Here are the school closings, delays, and other weather-related cancellations and announcements across the Rochester and Southern Minnesota area for Tuesday, November 29, 2022:

Schools:

Alden-Conger Public Schools: Closing at 11:00 AM
Lake Mills Community Schools, IA: 1 pm dismissal. No PM preschool or evening activities
North Iowa Community Schools: Closed today
Rochester Public Schools: 3 p.m. updateBelow is an update to the previous RPS message.
- All after-school athletic practices for all levels are canceled.
- All games are postponed.
- All after-school activity practices are canceled.
- John Marshall will not be serving supper meals.
The following will stay as scheduled:
- School Aged Child Care.
- Community Facility Reservations.
- Supper Meal services will continue at Franklin and Gage.
- Hawthorne Adult Learning

St. Ansgar Community Schools: Dismissing 2 hours early. No evening activities. no PM preschool

City Announcements:

City of Chatfield: Snow Alert - remove vehicles from city streets until 8pm tonight
City of Faribault: Snow Emergency declared for Wednesday, November 30. No parking on city streets from 1am to 8am or until plowed curb to curb, whichever occurs later. Unattended vehicles are subject to tagging and towing.
