The buzz of March Madness is here!  About 25% of Americans are going to take the time to do a little research and fill out a bracket for the NCAA tournament.  Some of us are even filling out more than one!

Not Everyone Fills Out A March Madness Bracket (GASP!!!!)

Not everyone is thrilled that basketball is consuming all of our lives.  In the United States, about 7 in 10 adults say they avoid March Madness by not filling out a bracket.  Rex Huppke shared the most authentic (and hilarious) account on USA Today about how he feels like a weirdo all month as college basketball is the focus.

"...I am asked no fewer than 1,345,299 times how my bracket is doing. Because those who love March Madness assume all humans love March Madness. When I say, 'Oh, I don't do a bracket, I really don't follow college hoops,' people look at me like I just descended from a hovering spacecraft and am unfamiliar with the ways of earthlings."

ChatGPT Is Helping All The Non-March Madness Lovers Fit In

Rex Huppke is asking all who don't participate to stand up and let people know boldly that you aren't going to experience any sadness this month thanks to a broken bracket.  But I know that this step could be hard for you.

Here's what I'm suggesting...it might be easier to just fake it a bit at the office and pretend that you are just as obsessed with March Madness as your co-worker.  Ok, maybe not fully obsessed like "you know who" that is watching the game on his phone while pretending to also work. (Psst...that co-worker is costing the US economy about $20 billion in lost productivity during March Madness.) Just fake it a little bit.  To help you out, I asked ChatGPT to give you a few sayings that are generic enough that no one will know you don't actually have a bracket.

12 Bracket Comments That Work for Any March Madness Conversation

Millions of people, every year, fill out a bracket for March Madness. If you are that one person in the office who doesn't really care about the NCAA Tournament but you STILL want to chat with everyone and fit in, below are some generic answers that ChatGPT created which should help you get through those conversations.

Tips For Anyone Filling Out a March Madness Bracket But You Don't Want To Do Any Research Yourself

I've got a few brackets to fill out this year for March Madness.  I am lacking all motivation though to spend more time on a computer researching who to pick as the champs.  If you need some help figuring out your top picks, below are a few tips to make it easier for you during this March Madness season:

Tip #1:  Look around the office for the person who talks about sports the most.  They have been doing research on teams the past 10 years and know stats on players that you didn't even know existed.  Ask them discreetly and innocently who they are picking to win this year.  They have already done the research - just use their answer.

Tip #2: Ask ChatGPT to fill out your bracket.  It will fight you a little bit and offer you tips to fill out a winning bracket for the season.  Just keep bothering it and asking it to be more specific with teams playing this year and slowly, you will get some team names to fill in.
