Minnesota Makes Top 20 On USA’s Growth States List!
According to a national do-it-yourself moving company, Minnesota has been named the #17 state in the USA for growth in 2022 and Rochester had a hand in it.
Minnesota Saw A 9% Growth According to U-Haul
The report is from U-Haul, and here's what it said about Minnesota,
People arriving in Minnesota in one-way U-Haul trucks rose 9% over 2021, while departures also rose nearly 9%. Overall moving traffic slowed throughout most of the U.S. but stayed busy in the North Star State in 2022.
U-Haul went on to say that 9% growth helped Minnesota maintain the #17 spot (that's where we landed one year ago).
Minnesota’s top growth city is Minneapolis. Other notable net-gain markets include St. Paul, Rochester, Mankato-North Mankato, Maplewood, Brainerd, St. Cloud, Apple Valley, Detroit Lakes, and Grand Rapids.

Migration trends data is compiled from more than 2 million one-way U-Haul truck transactions that occur annually across the U.S. and Canada.
What State Was At the Top of the Growth List?
