Rochester, Minnesota is getting a second helping of Wahlburgers, to open in the fall of this year. The franchise will be owned and operated by the same group involved with Rochester's first location.

The first Wahlburgers opened in Rochester in 2020 at the Med City's newest HyVee on West Circle Drive, NW. The new store will open this fall in the Crossroads HyVee location. Just like the West Circle Drive HyVee, the national burger chain will take over the previous Market Grille area of the grocery store.

When the latest location opens, it'll bring the count to 3 Wahlubgers in SE Minnesota, as Austin, Minnesota's HyVee is also home to a franchise.

A fancy hot dog restaurant would be kinda cool to have in Rochester. Do you remember when Burger King tried to do hot dogs? It was a disaster...

Hot Dogs and the Story of Burger King's Hot Dog Flop

When one is writing a story about hot dogs, it is appropriate to include many pictures from the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council. Did you know there is a National Hot Dog and Sausage Council? I didn't...until today. You know what I said when I found them?
