Minnesota Town Just Named One Of The Most Adorable In America
Minnesota is packed with charming small towns, but one of them just earned a national spotlight for being almost impossibly adorable. A new survey says this hidden gem stands out above all others in the state—and you might be surprised just how close it is.
New Survey Names Minnesota’s Most Adorable Small Town
As we know, the Land of 10,000 Lakes is a state with a lot of natural scenic beauty, but in addition to the spectacular views from Mother Nature, did you know we're also home to one of the Most Adorable Small Towns in the country?
That's the word, anyway, from the latest survey compiled by the crew over at LoveExploring.com. They looked at each of the 50 states to determine which towns were, in fact, the most adorable.

And, Minnesota's Most Adorable Small Town is... Lanesboro!
Why Lanesboro Was Just Crowned Minnesota’s Cutest Small Town
That's right, Lanesboro, the small town nestled in the bluffs of the Root River Valley, a little over two hours southeast of the Twin Cities, gets the nod as the most adorable small town in the Land of 10,00 Lakes. Here's what LoveExploring.com had to say about Lanesboro in their survey:
The small town of Lanesboro in Minnesota sits along the scenic Root River State Trail – covering around 60 miles, the route can be enjoyed on foot, by bike, or even with kayaks or tubes right on the water. Back in town, Lanesboro's quaint center is full of individual shops and bars, with a refreshing lack of chain stores and fast-food outlets.
And, according to the Lanesboro Chamber of Commerce website, not only is Lanesboro the Most Adorable Small Town in Minnesota, but it's also the Bed and Breakfast Capital and Rhubarb Capital of Minnesota and hosts the Rhubarb Festival each June. It is also the place to catch Minnesota's Root River State Trail if you're looking to do some biking or hiking.
Plus, Lanesboro is also the home of Buffalo Bills Days, held each summer during the first weekend in August, as well. And, during the holiday season, Lanesboro transforms into a magical winter wonderland, too. So, congratulations, Lanesboro! You really ARE adorable!
