Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has been sentenced to 2 years on probation for a gross misdemeanor conviction stemming from what police described as "a rolling gunfight" in the city.

23-year-old Mohamud Ali Mohamud was among several young men and teenagers arrested and charged after the occupants of 2 vehicles exchanged gunfire while driving through several areas of northwest Rochester including the Lincolnshire neighborhood. No one was injured during the 2018 incidents, which investigators indicated may have been related to an ongoing "gang feud."

Mohamud pleaded guilty in December to a 3rd-degree riot charge. A total of 5 people were charged in the case.
