A Midwest Version of ‘Survivor’ is Now Casting and Looking for Minnesotans
Have you ever wanted to be on 'Survivor'? Same. I would absolutely love to be on that show! My husband and I got hooked on the show during COVID.
But did you know that there's a Midwest version of 'Survivor' that was created? Yeah, and they're looking for people to be a part of the cast! Specifically, they need people from Minnesota to come be part of the competition.
The Midwestern Survivor
The Midwestern Survivor started as just some friends who got together and did their own, condensed version of Survivor over a 3-day, 2-night vacation.
Blake Ball was the guy behind it, and he invited 16 of his friends to his grandpa's cabin in Arkdale, WI for the competition. Well, it was a big success, people loved it, and so began The Midwestern Survivor.

They're on their 8th season, and this one will be taking place January 8th-11th, 2026 at Hungry World Farms in Tiskilwa, IL. The theme is Survivor: Midwestern Mayhem.
Survivor: Midwestern Mayhem
This season, they want to pit the Midwest states against each other. Minnesota vs. Wisconsin vs. Indiana vs. Michigan vs. Illinois. Missouri, Iowa, and Ohio may also be included if there are enough participants.

So if you've always wanted to be a part of Survivor, this is your chance to do it over one long weekend!
Don't worry, sleeping quarters will be a glamping situation with heaters. I was worried about the possibility of having to rough it in the middle of winter in Illinois, but nope, just during the games and challenges.
Apply to Be Part of The Midwestern Survivor
They're taking applications now through December 15th. The entry fee, if you're selected, is $100-$200 (the final cost will be determined by cast size), and the winner and Sole Survivor will win $500 (or more! Again, it depends on cast size).
