
13 Signs That a Hard Winter Could Be on the Way for Minnesota
I've been soaking up the heat these past few days. 80 degrees in October?! That's crazy. Definitely not normal for Minnesota this time of year. The average temperature in October, though, is around 65 at the beginning of the month and 50 by the end of October.
We all know that winter is coming, though, and there are some ways that Mother Nature could be giving us warning signs.
We're in the 'waiting for winter' phase of the year. The Old Farmer's Almanac and the Farmer's Almanac are both out with their predictions, but they're not always the most accurate. They aren't in agreement with each other this year, either.

However, Mother Nature can sometimes provide us with some clues as to how harsh our winter could be in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, and I feel like most of the time she's far more accurate.

Nature is pretty amazing! While yes, there is one sign that's based on folklore on this list, the rest of them can be true signs that a harsh winter may be on the way.
