When you think of seafood in Minnesota you likely immediately think of walleye. A lot of the time I hear people say that you shouldn't get ocean seafood in a state that's too far from the ocean.

But in Minnesota, we actually can still find some really delicious seafood even though we're a sad, land-locked state.

Minnesota's Best Seafood Restaurant

The restaurant that was named Minnesota's best seafood restaurant is a no-frills kind of place. It's not even a stand-alone spot, it's hidden in plain sight in an inconspicuous strip mall.

The restaurant is called Cajun Deli and you can find it in Brooklyn Park. Yelp writes that they're "renowned for having the 'best-tasting boils' in the state."

I personally LOVE seafood boils. I grew up with a neighbor who would do seafood boils all the time for our annual block party and it was delicious. He even did the food for my brother's high school graduation! So I'm going to need to try this place out.

Cajun Deli sells their boils by the pound and it comes "packed with black mussels, crawfish, whole shrimp, peeled shrimp, crab legs, crab claws, and baby clams (plus one corn and one potato per pound)". Yum!

Holy cow! If I didn’t live 30 minutes from this place I’d be here all the time.
