I read this story and seriously cannot stop thinking about it. I don't know what I would do if that was my kid that was thrown from the top of the slide platform. I can't even imagine how the people that saw it happen feel. There's just so much about this story that makes me sick to my stomach.

An 18-year-old threw an 8-year-old boy off the top of the 31-foot slide platform at the  Apple Valley Aquatic Center earlier this week. The boy, fortunately, is alive. He did have several injuries though including several broken bones in his feet, legs, and shoulders.

According to KARE 11, the man was "sick of waiting in a long line" when he picked up and pushed the child off the ledge. They reported that the man has developmental disabilities, and was being assisted by an aide who was not with him in line. He has been charged with third-degree assault.
