Minnesota Man Takes Home Guinness World Record For Tallest Mohawk
I don't know about you, but my hair won't grow to save my life. As my little sister says (or sings, I should say), "Samm, you gotta let it grow, let it groooow" (in her best Elsa voice) - I'm trying, woman. Anyway, I had to share that because it has created this magnet in me that is drawn to super cool or interesting hair, and I would say this record-breaking mohawk is def both!
Joseph from Park Rapids, MN will be gracing the pages of the 2021 Guinness World Record Book for having the world's tallest full Mohican Mohawk.
"I’ll admit that peoples’ reactions are pretty priceless too. I’m 6’1 tall, and my mohawk is pushing 4 feet now. Doors aren’t over 7’ tall, ceilings 9’, and cars are impossible to get into - so I’m limited to where and how I move around when I’m all done up, but the crowd usually comes to me."
And you'll see why in a second.
Joseph said since he’s been known for having long hair most of his life, he thought this was the perfect record for him to have. When he’s not wearing it in a record-breaking tower, Joseph keeps his hair braided and in two knots to avoid sitting on it.
