Guy Fieri Couldn’t Believe This Restaurant Was in Minnesota
Minnesota restaurants are featured on Food Network shows from time to time and you're probably familiar with a lot of these establishments like Matt's Bar or Pizza Luce, but there's one that Guy Fieri visited that I had never heard of, and can't wait to try.
Guy is pretty much the face of the Food Network with very popular shows like Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and Guy's Grocery Games and he's visited Minnesota several times. During one of these stops, he asked to visit a "real-deal Mexican restaurant" and was floored by the food he was served.
Dozens of Minnesota restaurants have been featured on national TV. Check out the list at the bottom of this story to see if any of your favorites have ever appeared on the Food Network.

A truly authentic Mexican restaurant can be hard to find in some cities but that was what Guy was craving during one of his trips to Minnesota.

The Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives crew actually visited this restaurant a couple of years ago, but I just saw the episode and wanted to share Guy's review for others that might have missed it.
He was blown away by the incredible flavors in the tacos el pastor that he sampled.
Guy simply couldn't believe that such an authentic dish was being served at a restaurant in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. He said, "There is no way we’re in Minnesota.”
Those tacos do look amazing and I'll definitely try them the next time I'm in that area.
