Minnesota Bathroom Named the Best Place to Relieve Yourself in the US

One of the worst parts about being away from home is when you need to use the bathroom and wondering if it's going to be clean and at least acceptable. I'm not asking for a stunning bathroom, I just need it to look decent and be clean.

That can be hard to come by sometimes...

We all value a nice bathroom! Which I think is why Cintas awards one public bathroom in the US the 'Best Restroom' every year.

Yes, this is a real award. This was their 24th year doing it.

Best Bathroom in the US Award

Each year, Cintas determines the 9 best public bathrooms in the US. From there, we all get to vote for which bathroom should be crowned the best of the best.

The Director of Marketing for Cintas, Emily Ramos, said:

For over two decades, this contest has honored businesses that understand the value of clean and memorable restroom experiences.

The bathroom's "cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality and unique design elements" were all taken into account when deciding on the top 9.

The 2025 contest featured a bathroom in northern Minnesota, and that bathroom was just announced as this year's winner of the Best Bathroom in the US!

Minnesota State Park Has the Best Bathroom in the US for 2025

The award goes to Bear Head Lake State Park in Ely, MN.

I was not expecting a state park to make the finalist list, let alone win the whole thing, but here we are. We do have really nice state park facilities in our state.

As the winner, Bear Head Lake State Park gets "a Cintas UltraClean^® restroom cleaning service and $2,500 in facility services or restroom cleaning from Cintas."

Boy, I can't imagine the pressure there will be to keep those bathrooms clean over this next year though...
