National Weather Service: Expect Heavy Snow in Rochester and Southeast Minnesota
Winter doesn't technically end until March 21st and Mother Nature isn't going away quietly. The National Weather Service says travel will be impacted Sunday night into Monday as a snowstorm passes through our area.
The National Weather Service in La Crosse just posted this update to their Facebook page: "Accumulating snow, causing hazardous travel, will move into the area Sunday afternoon and continue into Monday. Amounts of 4 to 8 inches are expected across much of the area with the highest totals across southeast Minnesota, northeast Iowa, and far southwest Wisconsin. There is still some uncertainty with this forecast and amounts and locations could change. Travel will likely be impacted, including during the Monday morning commute."
Dunken and Samm will be on Monday morning with updated information on road conditions and all of the latest school closings/delays brought to you by the Sylvan Learning Center in Rochester.
