New Anchor Announced at Popular TV Station in Southeast Minnesota

As you are flipping through your TV channels, you are probably going to notice some changes on a few local TV news programs.  We just heard yesterday that another individual has left ABC 6 News.  This departure follows a few others who have left as well - James Wilcox, Chief Meteorologist Chris Kuball, and a few months ago Laura Lee.

While change seems to be happening at that affiliate, new additions are also being welcomed at the NBC affiliate on the north side of town.  KTTC just announced on Monday, October 16th, a new addition to their team.

Meet our new weekend morning anchor Charles Kelley - KTTC Facebook Page

According to KTTC, Charles went to school at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and recently graduated with a major in Broadcast Journalism.  He also has a certificate in Digital Arts & Culture, which if you follow him on Facebook, you'll see a few fun Reels of his life at the studio.  Not sure how he does it but he is smiling at 3:00 am.

He hopped on social media to give a status update to his fans as well.

I am beyond excited to announce that I will be moving to Rochester, Minnesota in a few weeks to start as a Weekend Morning Anchor/MMJ Reporter for @kttc_news ! Thank you to everyone who has helped me on this journey. This is an incredible opportunity and I’m so happy to be chasing my dreams. - charliemkelley on Instagram
