New Rochester Coffee Shop Set to Open in Two Weeks

There can never be too many coffee shops. Rochester, Minnesota is getting another coffee shop soon! This one is called Scooter's Coffee and it'll be the 3rd location in Minnesota, but the first in southeast Minnesota. Apparently, this coffee shop is a chain, which I didn't know!

The signs are officially up at the new Scooter's Coffee location. I drove past the building yesterday and saw the signs were up so I stopped to take pictures. It's in the old Daube's location on South Broadway. They've been working on that building for a little while but this was the first time I saw the new signs. Which means they're opening soon...? Yes!

I found an email on their Facebook page so I reached out asking if they had an opening date set yet. I got a reply and they said they're planning to open on Monday, March 22nd, so in about two weeks!

Because I had no idea what Scooter's Coffee was I looked up their website and went to the 'About' section. I guess they started in 1998 when "they opened their first drive-thru coffeehouse in Bellevue, Nebraska." They also say that Scooter's "only roasts from the top 10% of specialty coffee beans in the world." So this place sounds like it's going to be good! I'm excited to give them a try!
