Where You Can Get the New SPAM Flavor in Minnesota

Just a few days ago, Minnesota-based company Hormel announced a brand new SPAM flavor. People are super excited to try it out! But where can you find it in Minnesota?

New SPAM Flavor Announced

This new flavor is the 12th permanent SPAM flavor, according to KARE 11.

Jennesa Kinscher, senior brand manager for SPAM, says that the "'new variety not only satisfies the comfort and nostalgia our current fans crave, but it also attracts new fans who are eager to try the sweet and zesty flavors'".

It's described as 'sweet yet spicy' and "'is a nod to the relationship the SPAM brand has to Korean food culture and the ongoing celebration of global tastes.'" The new flavor is Korean BBQ!

The new flavor is described as "a perfect blend of soy sauce, garlic, ginger, paprika and sesame with a hint of spice from gochujang paste."

SPAM's 12 Permanent Flavors

I wasn't totally familiar with the other permanent flavors that SPAM has to offer. So on top of Korean BBQ, the other permanent flavors are:

Where to Find SPAM Korean BBQ in Stores

But where can we get our hands on SPAM's new Korean BBQ flavor?

Of course, you can buy SPAM at the SPAM Museum in Austin, MN. But there's only one retail chain where you'll be able to get the Korean BBQ flavor, at least for now, and that's Walmart.
